HOW TO WRITE PROFIT-PULLING EMAILS
Writing good emails is not that hard to do my friends, in fact, almost anyone can write profit-pulling emails. Even if you think you are a terrible writer, you can still write emails that will make you a lot of money. This is what I tell my crew, write the way you speak. Write in a conversational tone. Imagine you are explaining the topic and you are offering it to someone you care about, talk about how it is going to help them and why they should get it now. I do recommend my friends, that instead of sitting and staring at a blank computer screen, pick up your cell phone, find that voice recorder option, and talk out loud. Imagine you are telling someone you know, about the product. You might want to start off with a story about how you used to have the same problem that the product solves, that you got it, and the problem went away (if that’s true, remember credibility is everything) Then you being a good friend, you recommend that they also get it. Or maybe you might share a case study (testimonial) of someone else who used the product and receive amazing results with the product.
Once done, stop recording, then play it back to yourself and transcribe what you have said. Your tone will be more conversational, and that my friends is exactly what you always want in your emails. With enough practice, you won’t even need to record your voice and transcribe anymore. You will just hear the inner conversational voice in your head in a big way, and put the words onto the page.
Please listen up, you don’t need to be an expert on something in order for you to sell it. You don’t even need to be a great writer, you see, often, you can just get the sales copy from the sales page (or the affiliate linked you’re promoting), and then paraphrase from that. Remember, individuals will pay more attention to you longer when you entertain them, not just educate them. This will keep it interesting and will create more of a bond, you want them to hear your personality throughout your writing. Even though you probably never met, you want them to receive a sense of what you are like in person. You want to do the same thing in all of your writing to all of your own subscribers.
My main traffic method is Facebook, I always do a very good job of following up with my leads. This has always allowed me to make big money with small numbers. My friends, the fortune really is in the follow-up, regularly emailing my subscribers and always providing them with real value is a crucial part of my success.
CASH WITH BROADCAST EMAIL
Are you ready, here we go, this is where you broadcast an email to everyone on your list, no matter, boys and girls where they may be in your sequence. Whether they’ve just opted in yesterday or have been one of your subscribed for over six months, they’ll get your email. The advantage of broadcasts is they are a lot more organic that most emails. You can always tie them to local events (something going on in the news, maybe a holiday etc.) that’s already on the minds of your subscribers, so the open rates are usually higher.
Now for the disadvantage, if you rely solely on live broadcast messages, and if you happen to let it slip your mind to send the email, you now have lost a good chance to bring in potential revenue. Maybe you are traveling, or you completely forgot to write the email, however, every time you fail to send one, you’ve missed a good opportunity to build a relationship with and monetize your list.
So with is better, the automated sequences or a live email broadcasts? A combination of both, I have a 30-day, very well-optimized email sequence that all of my new leads automatically go into. I always made each email the very best it can be, because my friends, the best chance to monetize the lead is when it is new.
HOW TO DOUBLE THE SALES WITH SEGMENTATION
I am almost a little hesitant to even discuss this very good technique, because already I can imagine some of you cringing about how technical this may all sounds, and then being tempted to use this as an excuse to do nothing. So let me just give you all the basics, and also let you know that there are lots of affiliate marketers who make hundreds of thousands of dollars every year who never segment. However, if you do segment your list and talk to all of your segment differently, you can differently easily extract twice as much money out of your list.
Sometimes I will segment based on geography, based on the country the subscribers live in. Obviously, anyone living in America will receive an email about it. Individuals living in Canada will receive email, Mexico and Puerto will receive a few, Granted, it is a little more work to do this, however not that much more. Most mainstream auto-responders will let you do this with a few clicks of the mouse.
Other times, I will segment on a past action (or maybe a lack thereof). Each and every time I send out a broadcast email to my subscribers, I already know the majority aren’t going to open it. This can be for a number of different reasons, maybe they don’t see the email, maybe they’ve change the email address. Maybe they are not interested anymore, maybe the email wasn’t delivered, due to ISP blocking (ISP is like the Stormtroopers of the email highways). Or maybe the email ends up in the spam folder, and the subscriber never even sees it.
On average, only a third of my subscribers might open an email. To be perfectly honest, if I spent an hour crafting that perfect email, that annoys me. Yes my friends like you, I want them all to see it, so instead of me writing a new email the next day to send out and hope this time that it will get their attention, I will send the same email to everyone who did not open it, just changing the subject line. For all they know, this second email is a new one, Again most autoresponder will make this easy process.
HOW TO BUILD A STRONG RELATIONSHIP WITH YOUR LIST
(1) Do not promote something for the money only. Always make sure it is actually a valuable program, or product, or your subscribers my friends will never trust you again.
(2) Mix it up with the media. Record some new audio messages, put the occasional photo in the emails, keep if it interesting.
(3) Always Communicate as a real person. Do not ever use an overly formal business tone in your email marketing, because it will make you sound like an impersonal company.
(4) When anyone responds to your emails, always respond back personally. When the list become to big, you will not be able to do this as you’ll have too many responses coming in. However, when you start out, you definitely should.
(5) Always treat your subscribers as you want to be treated. Your subscribers will know that you are a marketer, and that you want to make some money. Always show that you care, and that you are not just out to make a quick buck.
WHAT NOT TO DO IN EMAIL MARKETING
(1) Be inconsistent in your follow-up. Email your subscribers daily for a few days, then don’t email them for two months. Then you suddenly start emailing them again.
(2) Promote a new product every week.
(3) Promote programs that you know are crap. And that you already know your subscribers will not like it, and will probably just refund.
(4) Never show any appreciation for your subscribers.
(5) Make sure that not one of your emails offer any value to your subscribers.
